Sweet little baby
with wondering eyes
grew into a lady
to no one’s surprise
and two little boys
were her favorite friends
they grew up and then became men
Her faith would be tested and
then be found true
as illness would enter
like none of us knew
she’d carry her burden
as all of us prayed
but God chose to take her away

He walked to and fro
said something is missing

He lifted her spirit

Looking for answers

why not someone older
or deserving of pain?
but she told her Father

complete in His power
